Bengaluru FC Revamp : Albert Roca returns to the club

Bengaluru FC has been heavily praised for their success in the short term with the club winning I-Leagues, ISL and Durand Cup. But, the last few seasons have not gone in the way they would have expected and a lot of decisions have went wrong at the club. As a result, Bengaluru FC are set to undergo a major revamp at the club.

Albert Roca Returns:

Albert Roca has returned to Bengaluru FC after his stint with FC Barcelona, but in a new role this time. Roca who left Bengaluru FC after leading them to ISL glory, is set to be appointed as the club's new Technical Director on a short term basis. Earlier this month, CEO Mandar Tamhane parted ways with the club following poor perfomances of the club. The club has moved quickly to get in Albert Roca along with Darren Calderia who will also be a part of Roca's Technical team. With the inputs of Albert Roca, BFC will be hoping to return to the top and compete with the likes of Mumbai City FC, Hyderabad FC, Kerala Blasters and ATK Mohun Bagan.

BFC target Manolo Marquez:

According to certain reports, Bengaluru FC have targeted Manolo Marquez as the right men to lead them to glory once again. A source close to Bengaluru FC have said Khelnow that they are in advanced talks with the Spanish coach and have offered him a two year contract. Manolo joined Hyderabad FC in 2020 and has led them to ISL triumph in two seasons which is considered a remarkable achievement by many within the game. He was also rewarded with ESPN Indian Coach of the Year 2022 Award. It would be interesting to see if Hyderabad FC can keep hold of Manolo or will Bengaluru FC be able to snatch him.

Halicharan Narzary to BFC?

According to KhelNow, Halicharan Narzary is all set to sign for Bengaluru FC on a 3 year deal from Hyderabad FC this summer on a free transfer. The Indian winger joined Hyderabad FC in 2020 and has enjoyed rich vein of form. He has been one of the key players for Manolo Marquez and scored the winning penalty in the finals against Kerala Blasters FC. This season, Narzary has scored 3 goals and provided 5 assists in 13 matches this season.
