A product of the famous Minerva Punjab Academy, Givson joined the AIFF Elite Youth Academy in 2016. Eventhough Givson missed out on the 2017 FIFA U-17 WC squad, he was rated highly and was promoted to the Indian Arrows team in 2019. He has represented the National team at various youth levels including U-17's and U-20's sides. Following an impressive season with Indian Arrows where he scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists, Kerala Blasters aquired signed him in 2020 on a 3 year deal. He has made 7 appearances for the Kerala Blasters senior side and has represented the Blasters at the Reliance Development league and PL Next Gen Youth Cup.

Givson has not featured for the Blasters this season as he is behind Jeakson Singh and Ayush Adhikari in the pecking order. Moving to Chennaiyin FC, he will be hoping to get more minutes under his belt and continue his progression. Givson is quite versatile as he can play anywhere across the midfield as well on the wings. "If you see where the players are coming from..which players we have brought here..Bikash [Yumnam] and Givson Singh. We are still building. We want to build a club with young players, "added Chennaiyin Head coach Thomas Brdaric.[Quote via @Shrivathsan1437]
