Indian National Team head coach Igor Stimac has announced 23-men squad for the upcoming Hero Tri-Nation International friendly tournament. India will
be up against against Kyrgyztan and Myanmar in the tournament. While Stimac hinted that he might not select players who are set to feature in the ISL finals, he
has selected a few of them.

Stimac has handed maiden NT call-up's to five players namely Mehtab Singh, Sivasakthi Narayanan, Phurba Lachenpa, Ritwik Das and Rohit Kumar following
their impressive ISL campaign with their respective clubs. While he has given debuts to certain players, he has left out golden glove winner Vishal Kaith
out of the main squad which has raised a few eyebrows. To add more context to it, Amrinder Singh who has been pretty average this season, has been called up ahead of Kaith.
Also, top Indian assist provider Naorem Mahesh Singh along with Nandhakumar Sekar and Asish Rai are other players who have failed
to make the final 23-men squad.
