Jamshedpur FC are set to play their 13th game of the season against Chennaiyin FC at the JRD Tata Complex, Jharkand.
It is an early kick-off and the match will start at 17:30 IST.
Jamshedpur FC come into this game with a 9 game winless streak, which is the worst in the club's history. Aidy Boothroyd and his men are currently
placed second from the bottom with just one win in 12 games. Addressing the media ahead of the game, Boothroyd added "Conceding stupid, early goals has affected our points tally and it is clearly something we need to work on."

Chennaiyin FC come into this game with a 14 day break after their 2-1 loss against Mumbai City FC. They are currently placed 7th in the table with 14 points from 11 games. The Marina Machans have won just once in their last 5 games and the play-offs hopes looks unrealisitic day by day. " We are here to inflict a defeat on the opponents, this is our aim all the time and going into the playoffs is our big target", added Thomas Brdaric.
Both these sides have faced each other 11 times in the league so far. Chennaiyin FC have been the superior team with 5 wins compared to Jamshedpur FC's 3 wins. The earlier meeting between the two sides this season resulted in a 3-1 Chennaiyin FC win at the Marina Arena. Petar Sliskovic, Nasser El-Khayati and Vincy Barretto scored for the Marina Machans whereas Ishan Pandita scored the only goal for the red miners.
Jamshedpur FC have been hit hard by injuries this season. They will be without the services of midfielder Germanpreet Singh and winger Komal Thatal. But new signing Dylan Fox will be available for selection and will be raring to go.
