Ishan started his career in Spain where he was a part of various youth teams like Alcobendas, Almeria, Leganes and Gimnàstic. He signed his first senior contract with Pobla Mafumet in 2019. He then joined Lorca FC where he scored 4 goals in 23 games. Following his impressive performances, he joined FC Goa where he played 17 games and scored 4 times. Most of his appearances were late off the bench. In 2021, Pandita joined Jamshedpur FC on a two-year deal. During his time with the red miners, Ishan won the ISL shield and scored 5 goals in 34 games in the league. But, gametime was a huge concern for the young Indian striker as he started only 8 games for JFC and averaged just 30 minutes per game in the league.

Ishan has represented the National Team 6 times in the past two years and scored his debut goal against Hong Kong. He was also a part of the recent NT camp, but had to back out because of an injury.
In Ishan, Kerala Blasters will have a proper Indian Striker who can partner Diamantakos up front. Also, with the recent injury for Austrlian forward Joshua Sotirio, Ishan will be a valuable addition to the Blasters attack.
